Abstract

This report deals with development of a knowledge based system for use in troubleshooting the activated sludge wastewater treatment process. It discusses the anticipated hurdles to be overcome and benefits to be realized. It provides an outline of the proposed system and an example of its use. The report also addresses the organization, stages, and expected resources for the development of such a system.
