Abstract

The objective of this study is to obtain a model and methodology for forecasting carpenter activity for the purpose of forecasting Trust contributions. Employer contributions into the trust are a function of hours worked by carpenter union members. Therefore, by forecasting the hours worked by carpenters, the Trust can easily obtain an estimate for employer contributions.
