Speakers are PSU President Joseph Blumel, Theresa Millar, Andrew Millar, Gordon Hearn (Dean of the School of Social Work), Miles Romney (Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Oregon State System of Higher Education), Frank Rodgers (PSU Library Director).

Introduction to the dedication, which took place in the lobby of the new library on May 30, 1975, was provided by the PSU Brass Ensemble. [Note: A brief interruption occurs at 24:54, as students from the Chicano Student Union can be heard calling for a boycott of classes (see PSU Vanguard, June 3, 1975)]
