Abstract

Kristen Kern describes her visit to La Bibliotheque interuniversitaire des Langues orientales, or the Interuniversity Library of Oriental Languages (BIULO), located on the Rue de Lille, a few blocks east of the Musee d’Orsay on the Left Bank of the Seine, housed in the Institute of Oriental Languages and Civilizations, as well as the history of the Interuniversity Library of Oriental Languages and some of the more special collections.
