This paper describes the use of anticancer agents in combination with immunotherapy drugs in regulating the activity of natural killer (NK) cells in a novel co-culture technique with breast cancer cells. The results are extremely interesting and exciting, and the results of this paper suggest that the co- culture cell culture technique is a promising new way to quickly screen for the effects of anticancer agents in modulating the NK cell response to cancer cells. The results are convincing and were obviously carefully obtained with sound experimental techniques. The conclusions drawn from the study are consistent with data collected and are not over-interpreted. Overall I find this a significant contribution to our knowledge of immune-modulation and its role in helping to develop therapeutic regimes to fight cancer.
