Appendix A File naming protocol Well logs are named based on the well to which they refer in the text. Appendix C file naming protocol For GeoT input files, the file is named for the applicable well with a "c" or a "q" indicating if it refers to the chalcedony or quartz assemblage file. Appendix D file naming protocol .ins, .pst, and .tpl are present in seperate folders. The .ins file Geot.ins applies to all of the .pst files with the exception of the allparams file. The .ins files are saved as "filenameins.txt". To use these files, they need to be changed to "filename.ins". .pst and .tpl are named following the GeoT input files process (a "c" or a "q" indicating if it refers to the chalcedony or quartz assemblage file) Appendix E file naming protocol For RTEst input files, a seperate folder is included for each well. In the folder are the necessary files to run RTEst (.rea and .txt files). In addition, the thermodatabases used are included in a seperate folder. The.rea files that reference the soltherm thermodatabse are indicated in the file name.
