Journal of Creativity in Mental Health
Marriage, couple, and family counselor (MCFC) educators are often seeking creative and innovative strategies in the classroom to further the understanding of course topics for counselors-in-training (CITs). Adventure-based counseling (ABC) activities are an example of innovative, action-based experiential learning activities that counselor educators can utilize to facilitate engagement, reflection, and contemplation through systemically oriented therapeutic strategies to better understand course content.
