The Rae Selling Berry Seed Bank is Oregon’s leading native seed repository, preserving seeds from the state’s rare and endangered species, culturally significant plants, and key species used in ecological restoration. In addition to its seed conservation efforts, the seed bank plays an active role in plant conservation across Oregon and the broader Pacific Northwest. Its initiatives include conducting rare plant surveys through the Citizen’s Rare Plant Watch program, propagating native plants, and providing educational outreach.
