Abstract
Teams are an inherent part of many organizations and companies are emphasizing the importance of team building more than ever before. In a context where globalization is the key to business, communication and team building becomes an important ingredient to businesses. Many aspects of team building, like understanding team stages, namely forming, storming, norming, performing and adjourning, cultural differences, communication styles etc are important for teams to function cohesively. An improvement in performance of teams can be seen where such concepts are well w1derstood and practiced. The paper brings out the team building process of a multicultural team in a class setting and analyses its performance.
