Abstract

Our team’s goal is to provide a Generic Business Plan Template (BPT) for use on a wide range of business circumstances and scenarios. We researched understanding and comprehension of the variety of forms of business plans and also use project management principles and techniques to manage from initialization to termination all aspects leading to the accomplishment our goal to deliver a Business Plan Template. The project starts out by a team formation event, in which the core team and extended team are identified and responsibilities are negotiated and delegated followed by risk analysis, planning and scheduling. Next, are the development, testing and production milestones where the team has produced a generic end product for presentation and documentation and project termination. A generic Business Plan Template is produced and the project management techniques followed and understood. Our team has an overall elevated interest in the process of project management as applied to real life situations, in which each one of us will probably encounter during our careers. Thus, we were extremely satisfied to deliver our end product within budget, time and performance.
