Abstract

Effective strategic bus iness planning is very important because it provides a framework For management leadership, and drives many other activities. When senior management actively leads the process, strategic business planning can provide a sense of continuity and stability in a rapidly changing environment, and can shape an organization’s culture. Further, it provides a means for dealing with problems that are beyond the control of individual organizational units.
