Abstract

The effect of a magnetic field on an electrochemical system, the Leclanche cell, was investigated. Experiments show that there is an increase power output and charge passed when a cell is discharged in an applied magnetic field.

Possible explanations for the effect and descriptions of attempts to verify these explanations are presented.
