The Spring 2021 Commencement ceremonies for each College and School at Portland State University were held as separate virtual events with speakers for each. These ceremonies honored graduates who received their degrees in Fall 2020-Spring 2021.

Rukaiyah Adams, M.A., J.D., CIO of the Meyer Memorial Trust, delivered the commencement address for the College of Urban and Public Affairs.

Brett Bigham, M.S., PSU Class of 2002 and 2014 Oregon Teacher of the Year, and William Parnell, Ed.D., Department Chair of Curriculum and Instruction, delivered the commencement addresses for the College of Education.

Dr. Frank A. Franklin, Ph.D., J.D., M.P.H., principal epidemiologist with the Multnomah County Health Department, delivered the commencement address for the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.

Sen. Avel Gordly delivered the commencement address for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Ronald D. Herndon was awarded an honorary doctorate.

Kali Thorne Ladd, M.A., Executive Director of KairosPDX, delivered the commencement address for the School of Business.

Mario Milosevic, Art Director for the Portland Trail Blazers and PSU alumnus 2006, delivered the commencement address for the College of the Arts.

Jill Murfin, B.S., PSU Class of 2005, delivered the commencement address for the Maseeh College of Engineering and Computer Science.

George Yoshio Nakata, a survivor of U.S. federal internment of Japanese American citizens during World War II, graduate of Lewis and Clark College, and U.S. Army veteran, delivered the commencement address for the School of Social Work.
