Abstract
The study of cross-functional team management was conducted through a literature search and through open-ended interviews with three companies: Tektronix, Pacific Corp. and Oregon Cutting Systems, which utilize cross-functional teams. Our intention was to compare the literature results with our interview results. In order to make relevant comparison between the literature search and the interviews, we formulated our interview questions from our literature findings (see Appendix A.) As a result, our interview questions could be used to support or negate our literature findings.
