Abstract
A small City’s wastewater facility is nearing the end of contracted agreements which forces the City into a decision making process. The decision making process allow the opportunity to incorporate engineering economics to justify the selection of the “best” wastewater treatment and disposal course for the next 25 years. Incorporating engineering economics analysis into the decision making process will provide defendable justification for the selected alternative and minimizing cost to ratepayer.
