Abstract
INTRODUCTION:
Blount International, a manufacturer of saw chain, builds and uses 50k plating racks per year for chrome-plating cutters
The racks are manufactured in 3 locations for use by 4 facilities in different countries
The process uses some simple machinery but is mostly manual
