Abstract

We will investigate what factors influence acceptance of WiMAX technology using the TAM ideas from Davis. We will use as our starting point the two fundamental papers:

  • Hossain and Prybutok, “Consumer Acceptance for RFID Technology : An Exploratory Study” in IEEE Transaction on Engineering Management, Vol 55, No. 2, pp. 316-328, May 2008.
  • F.D Davis et al, “User Acceptance of Computer Technology : A Comparison of Two Theoretical Models” in Management Sciences, Vol 35, No. 8, pp. 984, 1989
