Abstract
The project described below is to take an emerging technology from the stage of being “way cool” science to an actual application that can be sold in the market. This project focuses on establishing global connections which will provide the R&D functions necessary for each of the individual components to create a product which will then be handed off to manufacturing, marketing, finance, etc. to be taken from the design stage into the actual product stage that hits the shelf. Throughout the product development cycle, prototypes and Beta versions will be created in order to test the product so that when it hits manufacturing and the market there should be very few defects or quality problems.
