Abstract
Technology forecasting using design envelopment analysis (TFDEA) has been used to forecast a number of technology applications. This report will detail the effects of using TFDEA on commercial aircraft introductions and related technology developments and implementations since the 1950s in an attempt to forecast commercial aircraft technology horizon and evolution of that technology over time. In this binding, one will find the reporting of the class project, the results from the linear program model of the TFDEA, the airliners. net database of planes, the PowerPoint presentations of the project status, and any references documents in the report.
