Abstract
In this research paper, I would like to illustrate the importance of the new technology called Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). RFID technology is been around 1920 but did not integrate the main stream business process for several decades. There are many reasons for the fact that it’s expensive, it’s complex and has a privacy issues.
The topic of my research paper is “RFID – An alternate to Barcode”. In order to prove this emerging technology, I would like to dive deep in to this complex science and illustrate why RFID technology implementation is beneficial to the modern world. This paper will compare new verses old technology by providing snapshots, background and other technical details.
The method of this research paper is based on Industrial papers by leading business entities, publications from IBM Global Services, one case study of Taiwanese Elementary School, market Intelligence report, my experience etc. The main premises of this paper itself will be the technology and its implementation. Further more this paper will systematically unfold and prove: “Why RFID Tags are required element in Modern business”.
