Abstract
Decision makers and mid- to high-level managers in major corporations are facing extremely tough challenges globally. As time-to-market for new product development decreases along with a decrease in the time products depreciate from premium pricing to commodity pricing; finding profit revenues in “business as usual” practices quickly falters. Add to that pressure a US economy that while making modest improvements after the dot-com bust still struggles with a besmirched reputation from multiple high-profile legal cases, it is even more clear that fostering an internal innovation store is becoming more critical than ever to a corporation’s success.
