Abstract
Executive Summary:
A local gastroenterology clinic is going to be moving into a new building and increasing dramatically in size. Staffing of the clinic is a key concern as well as determining workflow changes in the event that a staff member calls in sick, or is otherwise unavailable.
Discrete system simulation (DSS) via ProModel was used to model and simulate the current system as well as the new facility.
