Abstract
Introduction:
Quantitative Models for Performance Evaluation and Benchmarking: Data Envelopment Analysis with Spreadsheets and DEA Excel Solver by Joe Zhu was published in 2003 in Kluwer Academics Publishers' distinguished International Series in Operations Research & Management Science. The book of about 300 pages is structured into 12 separate chapters: Each of the first 11 chapters contains an introduction, a discussion and the spreadsheet models of a recent DEA topic. The last chapter is devoted to the DEA Excel Solver Software developed by Joe Zhu, which is enclosed on a CD-ROM.
