Abstract
Abstract:
The digital divide has narrowed in most developed countries such as the United States. Lack of local content, usability problems, poor infrastructure(primarily telephone systems) and English-centric content continue to hamper efforts to close the gap globally. This report will explore these factors, with special emphasis on usability issues that have implications beyond less developed countries(LDC's).
