Abstract
Executive Summary
The subject of this work is a team that was working on a challenging task and several minor class activities. The team was comprised of four international students with diverse cultural backgrounds and skill sets, who showed certain degree of mutual accountability and commitment to a common purpose, however, who have not realized their potential to become a high-performing team. The objective of this study is to analyze our team’s performance, learn the lessons from our successes and failures, and develop recommendations and steps to take to succeed as a team in the future. The work done is an important contribution to our practical skills and understanding how to make teams work. We used theoretical concepts on communications and team building, as well as personal observations in the form of journals to interpret our team’s work.
