Abstract
Executive Summary
Since doing businesses is not constrained with national boundaries any more, companies are facing many challenges in today's business environment. They are forced to change their traditional ways of managing and create unique approaches for new situations. Companies are recognizing the importance of building effective relationships in the global arena, which is correlated with establishing successful cross-cultural teams. This paper outlines some of the behavioral dynamics that is shaped by peoples’ different cultures and their effect on teams. Understanding of different types of communication styles in crosscultural teams is a must-have-component of every "leadership" team and its variances on team success. Finally, this paper will discuss the pros and cons of team diversity and its impact on team member selection and interaction.
