Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this paper is to develop a Project Risk Management System for the Port of Portland. Initial steps included performing a situational analysis to determine current project management tools, types of projects, relative sizes of projects, and the current risk management techniques used by the Port. The comprehensive existing tools are standardized within the Port’s Project Delivery System – the system lacks only the components of a Risk Management System.
