Abstract
This paper describes the specific characteristics of the commercial jet industry and the way in which the competitors do business. The paper discusses the political factor, the reasons of its importance and the relationship between Europe, United States and China in this industry. Also, the strategies used by the two competitors: Boeing and Airbus, in order to be successful in the future are suggested in this work.
