Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the findings, the methodology, the strengths and weaknesses and references of the research paper entitled “Involving Suppliers in Product Development in the United States and Japan: Evidence for Set-based Concurrent Engineering” by Liker, Sobek, Ward, and Cristiano and to determine what contribution is makes to engineering management literature and how it relates to other publications in this field.
