Abstract
Executive Summary:
Pervasive computing is the technology given to a concept for computing from any device at any time from anywhere. Since the concept applies to technological applications of the future, we performed a literature search of business journals and other publications to provide a forecast of the impact this technology will have on business. From published material, it can be concluded that pervasive computing has the potential to provide numerous opportunities when integrated into business strategy. However, to create competitive advantage from the technology associated with pervasive computing, businesses must overcome the challenges involved with integration, especially in building the infrastructure for wireless networking.
