Abstract
This paper describes and analyzes a project to acquire, install and bring on line a Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) at a Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC) plant. A Coordinate Measurement Machine is used for precise dimensional inspection of parts, tooling and fixturing.
