Abstract
A study was done to discover how uncertain information affects engineering managers' hiring decisions. The importance and relevance of this investigation were verified through a literature search. In particular, the case of a manager reviewing the results of a team interview was investigated where the manager had to make a decision given varying data from the interviewers. Data was received from 39 survey respondents experienced in team interview process. Several conclusions and recommendations were drawn from this study.
