Abstract
The innovation of Bluetooth wireless technology is changing wireless communications throughout the world. Bluetooth began as an alternative to wired devices, it allowed them to communicate over a short distances and early implementations showed its usefulness for consumers. Today, the term Bluetooth is used to refer to open specifications of a technology that enables short-range wireless voice and data communications. This report will discuss the development of Bluetooth wireless technology, provide a technical overview, analyze issues with Bluetooth, and offer potential solutions, as well as, investigate the future of Bluetooth wireless technology.
