Abstract
Based on the study that has been conducted from UPS operation in Vancouver Washington state. This paper would propose zoning process and central delivery locations with in the established zones to reduce delivery cost. This project uses linear programming methodology to optimize the current delivery routes. The purpose of this study is to propose a new delivery system that reduced cost of the Vancouver operations. Finally, this paper tends to propose a new way to deliver parcels to the customer community and limits the repeated delivery of the parcels to customer homes.
