Abstract
E-business has had a profound effect on the business landscape. However, in the near future, this effect will reach to unprecedented levels. There are three reasons why this prediction will come true:
- "By 2003, all business people are likely to have Internet access."
- Every business process can be made more efficient with the application of e-business.
- Both buyers and sellers benefit from the application of new e-business practices
Across all industries, e-business will redefine the business landscape. The network effect will wash the residues of the old business practices away and a new type of economy will govern the interactions between the players. Companies need to act now in order to be ready for this future.
This report presents a framework for e-business strategy formulation using Analytical Hierarchical Process (AHP). In the following sections the proposed model will be presented.
