Abstract

Novotel, one of the world class :franchise hotel managed by Accor headquarters in France, has seven locations in Thailand. One of the nice east seaside location of Thailand names Novotel, Rimpae, Rayong. The business has been run since 1980, starting from the local hotel, and later on the business has started booming, and with new visionary of the owner to move the local business to the world class hotel, Accor has been hired to manage the hotel business. However, a lot of consistencies are still found in the transition process. Human resource and the confusion on the authority are still being normal problems even in the routine work. To be ready for the growth, we as the consultant of the company have analyzed the work style using the project management tools. Project Management Framework concerns how to improve the business enterprise by · implementing project management integrated with other management methodologies.

The analysis model in this report starts with present strategy analysis in the project management perspectives, namely, Culture, Integrated Processes, Behavioral Excellence, Management Support, Informal Project Management, and Training and Education. Then, the key success factors, gap analysis, and critical problems are provided to make a clear picture of the company status. Finally, alternative strategies, including pros and cons analysis, and the recommendations are presented for improving the company.
