Abstract
Abstract:
The Oregon Department of Education (ODE) has developed an initiative called the Database Initiative Project (DIP). The data collected by ODE is publicly available and currently includes 16 pilot districts throughout Oregon and proves to be very useful in distinguishing the diversity of characteristics between these schools and the relative districts. This project uses DEA to analyze similar data but with more of a focus on expenditures and test outcomes while utilizing raw data obtained from ODE directly.
