Abstract
Intel as the leader in the semiconductor industry incorporated E-commerce in its business plan due to the fact that E-commerce industry has become the most profitable market the world ever seen. Intel saw this opportunity as it matched its strength in its core competency as well as recognizing technology physical limitation and competition as barriers to survive in this new industry. This paper will assess Intel's strategy: past, present, and especially, the future strategy that's affected by the e-commerce phenomenon.
