Abstract
Identix is a provider of biometric fingerprint recognition systems. Recently the company has expanded into the consumer market. To guide this process, Identix will create a new division outside the company, TouchID. TouchID will sell fingerprint recognition systems intended to be integrated into portable electronics. These devices will initially be sold to OEMs and installed in laptop computers. The device will be sold under the division name, TouchID. Eventually, other small electronics devices will also incorporate our product.
