Abstract
Executive Summary Oregon Heahh Sciences University is approaching a decision point regarding student information system application choice. The organization currently uses Systems and Computer Technology's (SCT) Banner product (version 3.2) to track students, employee, course and program information. The University recently made a decision to migrate from Banner to an Oracle module to track employee information effective January I, 2001. The Oracle product was selected to be utilized by the Human Resources Department because Oracle is the core application utilized by the organization to support financial reporting, purchasing and many other key functions across campus. Integration between financial reporting data and human resources information is essential to reduce inefficiencies and provide adequate reporting capabilities.
