Abstract
Decision Making theory and tools are an aid for making difficult decisions easier. One of the difficult decisions many people face is, where to invest their money. The decision becomes more difficult once the economy starts to slow down. A start-up investment company is looking for a group of people who can help them in providing scientific data about making a better investment decision for their clientele.
The company plans to target young people within the age group of 25 to 40 years who are interested in investing $10,000. The survey carried out by the company shows that the people within this age group are generally interested in investing in the one of the following securities:
- Stocks
- Bonds
- Certificate of Deposits
- Real Estate
The Company has contacted Team No 7 to assist it in formulating the investment strategy by using the decision-making theory and tools learned during the EGMT 530/630 course.
