Abstract
Technological innovation and its processes were closely studied through a comparative analysis of how technological innovation works in two major U.S firms: Apple Inc. and Google. This paper emphasizes the importance of technological innovation and argues its importance by closely looking at the two successful companies, their business strategy and innovative culture. The focus and success for both of these companies lies within their innovative culture, consisting of improving product quality, increasing market share, finding the market niche, and acquisition of their talent hires. Descriptive guidelines are set for a technology innovation process to be successful in an ever-changing technological industry. Several factors are discussed which are considered to have an important integrative role.
