Abstract
Organizations always look for new tools and technologies to improve employee productivity, organizational competitiveness, performance and profitability. CAD/CAM promises a unique opportunity to realize these objectives. As a result, an increasing number of companies are acquiring CAD/CAM systems. This report highlights the implications of these acquisitions, explores the common inhibitors to optimal CAD/CAM usage, and suggests management actions to overcome them.
