Abstract
Here we investigate the theories and principles of motivation and survey their application in today's engineering organizations. Throughout the report the impact of a well planned and carefully implemented motivation system is emphasized. It concludes with a list of major factors which should be practiced by managers in order to elevate individual goals and objectives to the organizational level.
