Abstract
The management of Tektronix's Federal Systems Division is regularly required to evaluate potential new business opportunities for the corporation. Opportunity evaluation requires extensive knowledge and information in a number of areas in order to make a proper decision. A possible solution lies in the creation of a knowledge sharing system. Its output would be a "bid/no bid" recommendation just as a knowledgeable human evaluator would produce given the same information.
