Abstract
Expert systems which are used in evaluating the creditworthiness of firms applying for credit lending services of the banks, are researched. This research was done in three major steps: 1) survey of expert systems in financial banking; 2) identification of disadvantages and problems of expert systems, and; 3) proposals of knowledge sharing systems to overcome these disadvantages.
