Abstract
This paper conducts a Financial Replacement Analysis for the Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Building Systems for the Oregon Trail Building. Data was based on an Engineering Consultants Energy Study Report, which examined five HVAC replacement Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) created to reduce building HVAC operating costs. Utilizing a Financial Replacement Analysis Methodology, two of the ECMs were disqualified for selection and three ECMs were selected. The three selected ECMs were ranked in order of preference based on the results of the Replacement Analysis. The Replacement Analysis Methodology utilized Total Marginal Cost, Benefit Cost Ratio and Incremental Benefit Cost Ratio.
