Abstract
The most critical decision in business is the selection of products which the company will develop and possibly market. It is also the most difficult and complex decision to make. Indeed, the company has to evaluate its plans for the future. And, any decision taken today will be related to profit or other benefits in the future. This paper reviews a number of key factors in this allocation.
