Abstract
Because Brazil has an important role in the worldwide economy, it is necessary to analyze its strengths and weaknesses. The purpose of this research is to expose some of limitations that keep Brazil from being known as a technologically innovative country. It will also show technologies and innovations that Brazil is embracing and is being successful with. Technology and innovation are critical factors for the country’s development. This study considers how Brazil is dealing with technological innovation, what Brazil has been doing in matter of technological innovation, and it will give a general overview of the projects and agencies that support and promote innovation in Brazil.
