Abstract
At Fujitsu Computer Products of America material is obtained from either the parent company in Japan or by purchasing direct from the manufacturer. Economic decisions are continuously made as to which source is the better financial choice. The Net Present Worths are calculated, compared and the best economic choice is identified. A detailed sensitivity analysis is done for the parameter with the most uncertainty, the production schedule forecast. We show how variation in production schedules effect the Net Present Worths of the four options.
